Welcome,
Here at Michigan State it is an honor and privilege to be a part of the Greek Community. As a member of Greek Life you are among some of the brightest men and women who demonstrate intelligence, character and leadership throughout their daily lives.
When you go Greek you are finding a fraternity of gentlemen that share the same interests and values as yourself. Brothers who will push you to strive in everything you do. It is the prime obligation of the fraternity community, to encourage the development of its membership to take on life’s challenges associety’s future leaders.
The Interfraternity Council is the governing body which presides over all fraternities on this campus. As a governing body we bring all the chapters together and strive to make the Greek Community better as a whole. Whether that be participating in a cleanup for the City of East Lansing, or raising money for the American Cancer Society. Furthermore, IFC takes on the responsibility of upholding all its members to a standard of conduct and behavior that proudly reflects the morals and virtue upon which the Greek community was founded in 1872.
As the president of IFC, it is my duty to represent the counsel on numerous levels such as the Student Advisory group, the Joint Fraternity Expansion Committee, and all Alumni Groups. IFC ensures that all fraternity chapters and their members promote the dignity and welfare of all participating individuals.
I hope you found this information helpful and if there is any other question you may have about the Greek Community please do not hesitate to contact me.
Fraternally,
Tony Biallas
President
Interfraternity Council
