    Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded on November 1, 1901, at Richmond College. It was founded on three principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Around 15,000 SigEp undergraduates are on 240 college campuses each year. They are among the more than 300,000 lifetime brothers who have joined since 1901. Sigma Phi Epsilon is one of the largest fraternities in the United States in terms of current undergraduate membership, and has a national first year retention rate of 75%.
